Privacy policy
This page explains what California Patches collects through californiapatches.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
We collect what you send us in the quote form:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number, your team, club or company, and the date you need the patches by, if you choose to give them
- The patch you priced: type, size, quantity and backing
- Your notes and the artwork files you upload
When you send the form we also store your browser type and a scrambled version of your IP address that cannot be turned back into the address. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security.
This website never asks for card numbers or other payment details.
How we use it
- To prepare your mockup and quote and to reply to you
- To make and ship your order if you place one
- To keep the form safe from spam and abuse
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run the business, and only as far as they need it: our web and email host, the carrier that delivers your order and the payment provider named on your invoice. We also release information when the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
The quote form sets one cookie that keeps the form secure. It holds no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites, so the site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, Google receives your IP address and browser type.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and artwork for as long as we need them to make your order and keep our business records. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under California law, and we honor the same requests from everyone. We will not treat you differently for asking.
To make a request, email sales@californiapatches.com or call (657) 222-3556.
Children
This website is for people ordering custom patches. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
